Clouston Street

A small courtyard garden designed with two young children in mind. Swirling shapes, a serpentine path, a sweep lawn, a play house, places to sit, whitewashed walls and lots of climbing plants to creat a lush oasis.

With much of the paving down, the sandstone walls are starting to go up. These serve as both informal seating areas and raised planting beds, bridging the strong vertical element of the high walls with the horizontal plane. We have retained the mature magnolia around which a serpentine lawn will be laid. Our client has requested our now trademark spiral to be cut into the patio to finish off the curve of the lawn.
