Background

Thanks to regular visits to National Trust estates with her grandmother, Susan gained a deep love of fine gardens and quality architecture and developed an eye for good art and design early in life. This interest led to a degree in Landscape Architecture at Leeds Metropolitan University which she completed in 1992.

Terra Firma was set up in 1993 and was run for some years as a design only consultancy. In 2002 Terra Firma became a design and construction company. Now with a staff of skilled and experienced landscapers, designers and construction staff, Terra Firma ensure that every detail is laid down with the greatest care.
